As a market leader the Citroen Berlingo offers many improvements over the previous model that make the arguments for choosing one even more compelling. All Citroen Berlingo Van Offers 

The major features that stand out in the second-generation Berlingo compared with the original van are greater comfort and a better quality interior are. The cabin is more roomy (for two, at least) and the materials used feel more expensive. All models come with electric front windows and internally adjustable door mirrors and a trip computer. LX models add electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors. All come with a radio/CD player, while air conditioning is an option on LX models. Other items fitted to the LX include a height-adjustable driver's seat with lumbar support and an armrest, height and reach adjustable steering, lidded glove compartment and a dashboard-mounted clipboard. Most versions also come with Smartnav navigation and Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking systems (the 1.6i X is the exception in the range as it's an entry-level van).

Customers can choose from a 90bhp petrol engine or a 75bhp or 90bhp 1.6HDi diesel. The petrol version feels enough but one of the diesels would seem a better fit. The Citroen Berlingo holds the road very well with excellent body control for a vehicle with a relatively high centre of gravity. The Citroen Berlingo is also impressively quiet on the road.

The second-generation Citroen Berlingo is longer and wider than its predecessor resulting in the standard van (L1) load volume of 3.3 cubic metres. The longer L2 model has 3.7 cubic metres of space. The L1 has two payload versions - either 625kg or 850kg - while the L2 can carry 750kg. Width between the wheelarches is 1229mm, while the load bay length is 1800mm in the L1 and 2050mm in the L2. The Citroen Berlingo LX is offered with an optional Extenso passenger seat. This is a double passenger seat, although the part next to the driver is only suitable for occasional use by a passenger. This side of the seat offers hidden storage space, while the outer part, when not in use, can collapse to extend the load capacity. With the extended load area the L1 van has a cargo volume of 3.7 cubic metres, while the L2 van increases to 4.1 cubic metres. Like the original Citroen Berlingo, this second generation model is also available as a platform cab van. A nearside side loading door is standard on the LX (optional on the X), and an offside sliding side door is available as an option.

Anti-lock brakes and a driver's airbag are standard on the Citroen Berlingo, as you would expect. A passenger airbag. Central locking is fitted to the X model, while the LX comes with remote central locking. An alarm is optional on the LX, as is Bluetooth integration ensuring telephone calls can be taken hands-free.

Service intervals are every 12,500 miles, and the cambelt life has been extended - Citroën claims it shouldn't need replacement for 150,000 miles!
